Viewing a VW Golf 1.9 TDI. What to look for?

    Hi,

    I am going to view a 2006 VW Golf this evening and i was wondering is there any thing in particular i should be looking out for on a Golf?

    Common problems they can have etc?

    id like to bump this, im looking to get a golf 04-06 range. Any common faults or things to look out for? What mileage are these cars capable of? Im currently driving a 99 1.3 corrolla with 190k on it and cant see why it wouldnt go for another 30k at least. Are VW still as reliable as they were?

    not really... but Last time I did something similar my thread was locked by one of the admins.

    Just thought itd be less hassle to open a new one...
