    I have a mini q tron, its quality, the metal housing can take a beating too.
    You can get a ton of Bootsy Collins type sounds out of it, or even Muse 'Hysteria' with a bit of overdrive.
    Haven't tried the full Qtron tho or the bass balls.

    Can you solder/build electronics?

    BYOC do a DOD 440 clone, which is supposedly a pretty easy build, if you wanted to go that route. Jonny Greenwood's envelope filter of choice for playing live.
