    Hi all

I have a 96 Citreon Jumper high roof van, old van but it is a good van

A few months ago i found it very hard to start (week battery) so i jump started with another van

It was a very cold morning, not ice cold but still very cold. After a long tme i finaly got the engine started but noticed a problemo., there apears to be a aloud knocking noise as i rev / accelerate. and when i take for drive there is a lack of power, very bad with Max power on straght road 80kil / 50 mile per hour.

Could the injectors be the problem?

    Any help will be greatfull

    Is it smokey?

The hard starting problem I would put down as heater plugs if it happened all of a sudden.

Did you use easy-start by any chance?

smokey starting up., but goes after a few minits heater plugs where changed about a year ago im sure thats not the problem

what would happen if one of the injectors stoped working., would this be a reason why there is no power it in as what there used to be?.

i could make a video and post it here / youtube if someone wanted a listen? :)

You can check the heater plugs individually without taking them out.

Remove all the connections off the plugs and bring a wire direct from the positive terminal on the battery.

Tip this wire off the very top of the heater plug where the little nut goes. If you get a spark as you tip it the plug is more than likely working. No spark? Means its dead.

Anyway, this will not cause your lack of power.

With the engine ticking over, loosen the nut on top of the injectors one at a time. If you have a bad cylinder/valve or injector you will not notice the change in engine note so much on the one that is causing a problem.

Those are universal kits which work on all vehicles. One size fits all kinda thing.
