Bratislava alone for a day - safe?

I am going to be in Bratislava for a day on my own later this month. Is it a safe city and easy to find my way around on foot? I was looking at a shopping centre called Au Park - is it close enough to the city centre to walk to?

yes it's safe, with the usual caveats. spent several years there with no more problems than Dublin. Googlemaps for the shopping centre. Don't remember where it is, but BA not known for shopping much??
