Im living in maynooth in a rented house until the end of august. NTL said they do a minimum contract of 1 year so we cant take that. Is there any broadband in maynooth we can get for like 3 months ?

You won't get any broadband on a 3 month contract, anywhere. Your only option is to try PAYG 3G, or Ripwave. Results may vary.

    Oh alright, cheers.

Wouldnt mind ripwave if it was available here, even though its supposed to be bad.

you can get NTL on a 1 year contract and cancel after three at a cost of 100euro. So its essentaily going to add 33 euro to their monthly charge.

You'd be better of doing that than getting any of the 3G modems as their relaibilty is patchy at best.

You have a 14day money back gurantee with the 3 3G modem, if it's crap take it back, if you need broadband for more than light surfing the NTL option is probaly the one to take...
