Sleep mode & wifi

I'm at my witts end with my macbook and wifi connection. Anytime I boot my macbook from sleep mode (which is almost every day as I rarely turn it off) I have to unplug my wifi and plug it back in again in order to connect to it. It was an occasional thing at first but now it happens every time. I also have a mac mini & iphone on the network. It happens on these too sometimes but not as often as with the macbook.
When I boot from sleep mode the wifi indicator will be full and then empty a few seconds later..... and then full again etc., all the time connecting & disconnecting from my network. If I try and select the network manually and connect it tells me my password is incorrect. I've found a solution somewhere with google that involved resetting my keychain but this only worked for a couple of days.
Anyone else experince this? I'm with NTL, don't know if that makes any odds though...

Did you repair permissions after resetting your keychain?

yup, and it worked straight away but only lasted about a week before the problem came back. Do you think it would help if I assigned a static IP address to all the computers on the network?

It may or it may not. There are a thousand things like that.
Instead of many rounds of trial and error I'd ask a few questions that may reveal usage patterns which may explain this behaviour.

Do you do any port forwarding to any of your devices?
Is any file sharing activity going on as the problem manifests?
Have you checked your logs on the machines/router?

I was just about to suggest this. It's worth a try. I've never had a smooth experience with DHCP when there are multiple devices on the network.

    Thanks for the responses guys.
No port forwarding set up or file sharing. The logs show nothing out of the ordinary. It looks as though its the mac that can't access the network as opposed to the network rejecting the mac.
I'll give static IP's a go and see how that works.
