I too am curious, it was mentioned in that "top 10 things" link I posted. To be honest, I have never had any major marks from finish line dry lube and it keeps my chains very clean and quiet.

@Signal_rabbit: Just having a read of some of the user reviews on wiggle (pinch of salt optional):

    Wiggle

It seems like it might only be useful for summer riding conditions.

EDIT: Also, the chain needs to be absolutely spotless before application, which means that switching from synthetic oils to wax is not the most practical solution. I might just stick with my Finish Line red and green. If I move somewhere warm I will get the wax :)

Thought i would try out the wet one and the dry one ( I like the idea of a super clean, sparkly chain!). Wiggle won't ship that product here, does anyone know where I can get some from mail order?

I used regular White Lightning many years ago, when I used to go mountain biking. I found it could only really be used in the summer as it solidified too much in colder temperatures. It also, disappointingly, didn’t actually do what it said on the tin – it did collect gunk which built up on the chain. It probably works well in dry conditions but let’s face it, this is Ireland and we will be dealing with rain and wet crap spraying up on to our drivetrains.

I ended up deciding to use Finish Line (both wet and dry lube, depending on the conditions) as I found it to be more reliable. I just noticed that White Lightning now have a “Wet-Ride” variant which may work better for Irish cyclists.

I got some when I was in cycle superstore the other evening. Impulse buy for €8. I'm not sure if that's good or bad relatively.

I just started using the White Lightening Clean lube on my tourer the last couple of weeks. Not sure about the claims to keep your chain clean, mine's still picking up grit (& I haven't cycled it in the rain since it's been applied). It was a brand new chain. Got it out in Cyclesuperstore too.

I don't know about the "Clean Ride" lube but i've got the "Wet ride" lude and it certainly ain't clean. My legs are covered with marks all through the week and its pretty hard to remove when your too lazy to wash properly. I've only bought it recently but when it runs out i'm gonna try the clean one, i'm dirty enough as it is
