Just a heads up if you get white bags proporting to be from the above organisation. A couple dropped through my front door today, they do not collect in this fashion according to Rehabs website. Nor does the bag contain a charity reg number.

Cheers for the tip. We got a bag sticker through our door today, no reg. charity number on it. Not a sign of said charities name either. Only a phone number. Wouldn't trust that at all.
Surely householders should be made weary of such goings on:rolleyes:

At the end of the day, they allow us to get rid of stuff we don't use/wouldn't be seen wearing anymore with minimal effort.

But by doing so you fund dodgy/criminal activity, if you have stuff like old clothes bring it to a charity shop where it will actually do some good.

By giving stuff to these door to door people all they do is sort through it pick out the good stuff sell it and dump the rest in a ditch somewhere

Most of them don't post bags anymore, they simply post labels they expect you to stick onto bags

Tis shocking alright. I read an article before about how much these scams actually make, money wise. Was shocking.
