I need to find out is there a proof of a partner for example joint account, or bills? This lady friend live with my dad for nearly 7 years, they're not girlfriednds or a partner...but she dropping hints that she's a partner. I've asked Dad a straight question few times "is she your girlfriend or a partner?" He said no. I also asked my dad "Would he give her Eur10,000 if she asked him". He said no. In fact she stole more than Eur10,000 from him taking an advantage of his illness.

Now my Dad is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2006. He has good and bad days...I asked him this question on a good day.

The agreement between my Dad and this lady friend is that she cook and clean the house in return that he pays for everything all ulitity bills, food, books for lady friend and even her maintenance fee for her house as its rented out (She own three houses and she only told my Dad that she own one house with a big mortgage. She failed to mentioned two other houses she own). I found out by chance through a land registry.

My Dad sold a land 5 years ago and the money he got is for his nursing home care. He made his will and he left a small provision for her that was before he sold the land.

Now she making enquires from a solicitor what can she get for looking after Dad all this time? That is including monies he sold the land?

Can anyone point out the right dircetion of proof of a partner other than cooking and cleaning?

If you have definite proof that she has stolen €10,000 from him then you should go to the guards.

Is your father in a nursing home full time? If so there's no reason for her to still be living in her house. It would be a good idea for you to seek legal advice about getting power of attorney over your father's affairs (monetary!).

Go to a solicitor and mention a Power of Attorney in your favour.

There’s more to this than just discovering proof of partner. You should really discuss the whole situation with a competent solicitor.
He/she will tell you exactly where you stand and what information you need to get.
