    At the moment yes. But not for long, well, .22s might slip through.

    They were all taken up years ago, but then just a few years bsck people succeeded in the courts, setting a precedent. You'll have to start on something with a little less stigma and work up over time though.

    well thanks for the reply...i was just curious as to why the likes of other calibre .45 .50 .358 would be banned bit .22 would slip through interesting really kind of like saying there gonna put a ban on swords above 20" in length..i mean there still weapons and people who want to kill people will still be able to anybody wanna discuss????

    i think the minister thinks that centrefire pistols appeal to "the wrong type" of person and that .22 target pistols would be less appealing to people . most of the people in our club don't have target type match pistols ,but things like cz's , glocks , 1911 type .45s etc and these seem to be the pistols most people are interested in .
