Did your extenuating circumstances allow you to defer a module? If so then you have to sit it in August.

I delayed part of my work for the semester 1 result until Feb. Thats all. It's probably just representing that. Well I hope so anyway...

so what's the deal with student grants in relation to failing? If I failed a module, but pass the repeat exam in august, can I still get my grant? :(

Sounds to me that that is what it is, as I'd take it that your result won't be finalised until the repeat results come out in August, nothing to worry about anyway, I'm sure it's the same for others who deferred.

Yeah you can still get it, AFAIK you just apply for the renewal and will have to forward on your results when you pass in August.

How'd you work that one out? Nobody's grant is going to come out before they're back in college. Given that's it a renewal the person doesn't have to worry about it being approved either, once you get your repeat results in to them when they come out, your grant will be on time along with everyone else.

Some shocking numbers there for CA:

Only 35 people passed in CA1? Anyone know roughly how many are in the class? There was 160-180 when I started it (yes a lot drop out around xmas)

16 people passed CASE3? Again pretty shocking if numbers were anything like my year.

27 people passed CASE4? Think there was about 60 of us in final year. Anyone know the numbers for this year?

There were 57 CASE4s this year (according to LDAP), 44 CASE3s. 27/16 seems far lower then I'd thought :(

    (I passed \o/)

11 people passed EC1, must have been at least 30+ people in the class (not sure of exact numbers though)

But isn't CA1 gone now. Isn't is called like Enterprise Computing and something else now?

Those 29 could be repeats from last year?

CA is what CASE was. EC is what CAIS was. They aren't all repeats from last year.

CA is no longer split into CAIS and CASE streams. Instead there are two different courses to choose from. The Enterprise Computing degree offers, for all intents and purposes, what the CAIS stream did and similarly CA follows the aims of the CASE stream.

Damn thing is not working for my programme...

I was in IBL final year... course code was DC.

Is this not working for everyone yet or am I doing something wrong? :(

looks like half of ac1 this year passed, still wondering what the failure rate was for both ms125 and cs113(75% fail rate last year)

From what I can recall 4 people from ESH passed. 1 person from SCI. 24 of the 70 odd people in CES. Less than half of GCB.

I'm not one of those people though... MS125 got me!

I know the feeling with MS125, I had to repeat it this year!

so looks like the fail rates are about the same as last year then!

IBL is broken down into GS, FG, FS and J for the passlists, so just enter eg. IBLFS and it'll work.

Wondering does anyone know the answer to this,

I found out back in May I had failed one of my modules by like 2%, I spoke to the head and he said it had to be resat in August, that it's not one of the modules where you can pass on compensation, but when I got all my results out I had recieved high grades for everything else and was told that I had even passed on compensation for that particular module, does anyone know does this mean I now don't have to resit it? It was the only module I strugled with and I feel it was marked unfairly as well, and it seems slightly weird that all my other grades were good except that one.

That happened to a lot of our class due to one module we had in second year, a good few of us did very well in every other module, and were just given the 40% by the board. If you're on a like 70% average they aren't going to fail you for the year if you fail one module by 2%. If it says you passed, then you passed, so you wouldn't need to repeat it. You should doible check with your head of school though.
