I am going to drive to Estonia this Christmas and was wondering a few things, and looking for advice. Anybody done it before? How much does it cost? How do I get my hands on snow tyres and how much do they cost?

All help would be great, Thanks all in advance

For a 16" Tyre on a 205/55/R16 you are looking at anywhere between €50 - €180 per tyre. You will get them cheaper on your way to Estonia.

If you were sharing driving and driving non stop it would take around 27 hours non stop. Add in lunch and a stopover in Lodz in Poland.

I have never done it but would LOVE to do it. Driving across the US is also on my cards.

Driving on the Autobahn through Germany will also speed you up and be an experience.

Advice. Use Landbridge instead of getting a ferry from Ireland to France as going Landbridge(through UK) is cheaper. Drive Dublin - Hollyhead - Dover - Calais through Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Latvia and into Estonia.
