Hi,

I might be moving into this area soon. I've chatted to a few people around the area and they seem to like it, but I know it's not very far way from Dorset/Parnell/O'Connell and there seems to be the possibility that junkies that hang around these streets would come into the Phibsboro area.

Any insight into what the area around Berkeley Street and the Mater Hospital is like? Would appreciate opinions on safety, schools, shopping amenities, manner of people, etc.
