I viewed a car online priced €2000 then inquired on the phone, the dealer sounded suprised as he only put the car up that morning.

The next day the price was changed to €2500!

    Do I have any say?

You weren't ripped off though! The car is only worth what someone is happy to pay for it and so far that is nobody. However, the dealer is within his rights to increase the price should demand look good. What kind of car is it?

Yes you do, you can go some where else. Beyond that you have no rights to get the old price etc.

    00 Renault Megane Coupe 3Door

God damn greasy dealers, I have a great story about a peugeot mechanic telling me a new mudflap would cost €300 + labour because they only did molded one's, I then walked over to the shelf and picked up a rubber one in a box priced < €20! He started saying "uhh that price is wrong uhhh"

"They are a bunch of cowboys Ted!"

I wouldn't worry. You are in the best position as the buyer. Just wait until you find something perfect. That dealer will get impatient as he won't receive a call for the car and you may end up getting it for 1500euro.

Whatever price is advertised you can always haggle and get 10% off if not more considering the market state. They always add extra few quid onto asking price so they reduce it for you as if it's a "favour".

Keep looking around and take your time.

    Good luck.
