aspect ratio changes if TV is switched off

    Hi,

    if I'm recording from the UPC DVR box to the DVD Recorder, I have to leave the TV on or else the aspect ratio on the recording will switch to 4:3 instead of 16:9.
    anybody else having that issue?

    How is your DVR connected to the DVD recorder?
