I find his overly palsy interviewing style annoying. He carries on like his best buds with everyone he interviews, comes across as a cheeky and unprofessional.
Oh and faceplam for the hug on Simon Shaw.

Giving Shaw a hug was just plain stupid. Shaw was basically humiliated infront of live cameras. you could even see the panel kind of smirking when they went back to studio.

He questioned McGeechan over and over about Burger's gouging on SSN after the match. He wouldn't let it go. :mad:

Honestly he should be shot for those post-match interviews. (hyperbole obv). Absolutely ****ing horrendous every one of them. Paulie, Shaw and Geech. A disgrace. Right after losing in that fashion to persist with bs questions 3 times in a row in 3 seperate interviews is a disgrace, and to reduce Shaw (who imo appears to be a good skin) to tears and basically embarrass the man after the performance he put in is disgraceful.

He has been worse than this.

After the Emerging Boks draw last Tuesday he was interviewing ROG and his first statement/question to him was:

Simmons: "Well Ronan a draw like that must be like kissing your sister?!"
(awkward pause)
ROG: "Eh no!"

ROG didn't look to impressed either with Simmons calling him ROG later in the interview...gave him some look

What a complete spanner he is!

Journos... apart from one particular individual (Robert Fisk), I've never met one I'd consider remotely upright & honorable.

A recent high profile high court libel case is a good example of the typical rubbish written.
