Camping In France

    Hiya!
    There is a gang of us heading to France camping at the beginning of August. We haven't booked our campsite yet we just have the ferry booked.
    Ive emailed a few campsites this morning but some replied booked out. Have we left it too late to book them? Any suggestions?
    Please help.

    July and August are the busiest times as French schools are out around those times.

    Are you looking book a super tent, mobile home or a site for your own tent/caravan?

    There are loads of places which will have room.

    Where do you want to go?

    We want to be near St. Jean-de-Monts. We have tents so its only pitches we are looking for. We will have 4 cars tho. 2no. pitches might do.

    St Jean de Monts. Beautiful. I have been there many times.

    Try Les Genets. From using their English website it appears they have sites.

    I have stayed on this site, albeit in a Mobile Home. This is a very popular site for Families with a lot of children about but not in the pitched area.

    Im always jealous of people heading to France. I will go next year, mark my words. :D

    Thanks for that, ive emailed so ill await a response. A good few ive emailed have said they are full. I have been asking for 2no.Pitches as there is 8 of us but id say alot only allow groups of 6. Others have said you cant reserve places during august as people just call in. Will wait and see.

    Did you try eurocampings.com? Alot of sites in that area on that.
