    Well lads,
Been thinking of strting airsoft for a while now. Was just wondering does anyone around Waterford do it? There is a couple of my mates who would be very interested as well, but we are all poor students so would anyone have advice on buying cheap gear or even any advice on how much it would realistically cost to start up? Thanks

realistictly from a newbie a few hundred, to get settled in.
but in simple terms maybe €100-170 on a aeg, €50-100 boots, €50 on facemask and helmet and bb's €7-10 per 2000 and that is more than enough for a day.

We have a site outside new ross for 16+ if your interested. €25 for full day €15 for half day.

You realistically only need a gun and a couple of mags. all the rest is optional. you could pick up a skirmish worthy gun for maybe 100yoyo's up. mags usually cost 15ish each.

some decent clothing thats not restrictive to move in is a must. boots help a lot depending on the terrain but you could get away with runners. you could buy your own face mask for about 15 quid or rent one at the site.
thats pretty much all you need. :)
