ps3 emulation using virtualisation

As many people know ps3 to pc emulation is very difficult due to the sheer power of the ps3's cell chip and structure
The main problem is trying to build a program that can link the structure of the ps3's software structure to that of windows then mixing that with the adequate firmware changes to allow easy change over from controller to keyboard
The biggest problem is that many computers cant take the stress to process the amount of information of the emulation and crash .Most emulators today increase the amount of processing from normal games such as 300k in processing to 700-120k(example) . The computer will die trying to process this.
I'm currrently trying something a bit different to tackle the problem and would like others to try it out as this will only work if enough peolpe can join in to minimise the errors.

Using Linux ( i'm using 9.04jaunty Jackalope) , my plan is that instead of using an emulation program we just virtualise the Sony machine onto the computer and work from their to sort the hardware specifications so that anyone can change the setting to be able to at least play on the lowest settings.

This would significantly reduce the processing and if the hardware can be virtualized then alll the better .
The reason i say linux is because the system is by far the best os that utilises virtualization and if we can work from their , getting it to windows should be a breeze especially if the mojave or aero 7 or whatever they'll call it ramps up the uses of virtaulization.

The techniques are specifically that of paravirtualization(reducing the memory and processing needed) ,operating system-level virtualisation(to branch the Sony system os to other O.S and full virtualization of the Ps3

The only problem with this method is one thing.
This will take a good while to create but if done should allow Ps3 games to run on the average joe's computer with on par graphic and game quality
Hardrive space is going to be gobbled up by this and a blu-ray drive would be farely handy but if things go right it wont be neccesary .

I don't think you understand the difference between virtualization and emulation.

No chance of this ever happening.

Completely different architectures, way way different.
