I have just been told that a relative(not immedaite family) has raped another family member who was only 15. They (girls fam) are pressing charges. I just want to know if anyone has experienced this?? What happens if you meet the accused family on the street? I dont know who s talking to who

His family hasn’t done anything wrong. Act normal and take your cue from them.
If the crime did take place then they will be annoyed and devastated too. There is no point making them feel worse.

agree with above poster, there's no need to make a horrible situation worse by refusing to speak to his family. while the girl's family may not want to speak to his direct family(understandably imho) you don't need to make what is sure to be a horrible time for them even more nasty.

Just be there for everyone, it's sure to put a strain on each and every member of your family.

Approach them and ask wtf is going on, if you feel comfortable. Youll be asking who is talking to who essentially. Answering your own question at the same time breaking the ice.
