Spoiler tags and Caps lock

I've just discovered that I can't read spoiler tags when I'm using my iPhone. The page just follows my fingertip as I try to slide over the spoiler. What's the secret? Another quick question while I have your attention, how do you lock on the caps lock on the keyboard? Thanks

not sure on spoilers, but caps lock option needs to be turned on in settings>general>keyboard.

then a double tap on shift enables caps lock (it turns blue)

Thanks I had the caps lock turned on but didn't know about the double tap.
