    Yes, bowel region.

I don't know if it's because my trousers are too tight or that I'm eating a high protein diet, but there's a lot of movement and sounds coming out of there and it can be quite embarassing while it happens during work.

I have a good diet, eggs and wholegrain bread/porridge for breakfast, snacks during the day would be homemade protein bars/protein shake/nuts/fruit..., lunch would be chicken/bap/veg...dinner would be chicken and veg stir fry...before bed I'd have 500ml milk and some whey along with some almonds.

    Why all the sounds? :(

Protein makes you fart, simple as. Try some psyllium husk to clear you out regularly.

Protein doesnt make you fart much, undigested carbs make you fart loads. How active are you?

+1 on the husk though. Its brilliant. Tastes like birdseed mixed with water but it works.

I think his belly is rumbling, rather than the noises being farts.

I would have water all day sipping on it.

The rumbling isn't from my stomach, it's from, eh, the anus region.

As for how active I am? In the gym three times a week. But I don't do any cardio.

try a liver tonic, can get them in health food shops, relatively cheap. Will improve your absorption from food and probably digestion too. Might help.

I have psyllium husk in powder form. So how much should I take with water? I presume I just put it in the water and quickly gulp it down? I thought it gels pretty quickly so I'm not sure if this is the correct way to take it.

    Thanks.

    http://www.amazon.com/Vitamin-Shoppe-Psyllium-Powder-powder/dp/B00012NCK2

    Directions

As a dietary supplement, take one (1) rounded teaspoon, one to three times daily. Start by taking one (1) serving each day. Gradually increase to three (3) servings per day if needed. Stir powder briskly into at least eight (8) ounces (a full glass) of liquid. Juice, water, soy or rice drink, and milk are good with Psyllium Husks Powder. For easiest mixing, shake in a closed jar. Drink immediately. If product is too thick when consuming, add more liquid and stir
