My initial reaction to this is (without reading the offer); there's an over supply of wine in the global market at present.

In Ireland alone, wholesalers can't shift the stuff with the reduced demand from restaruants, hotels and pubs.

Looking at the site it seems max return is fixed at 25%. There is no mention of a minimum return although it does quote a range of 17% - 25%

Hypothetically speaking, if you were "guaranteed" a 17% return over two years, If you were at the bottom of the range, it's actually less than 8.2% pa.

Still a good rate for a fixed term investment, but the problem is there is most likely significant default risk on the part of the company with this investment.

I can't see how a business or real estate venture could have a capital preservation guarantee. If I'm wrong please let me know.

just doest sound right for some reason.

i dont know what the regulations are in spain but an operation like that would have to give a lot more information in ireland. The postal address in the bottom left hand corner is a bit odd also. starts with a postcode and gives no building number.

if its in the eu why wouldnt they just borrow the money? if they have a million quid and its such a sure fire thing there would still be a bank willing to lend.

    Hi,

I was looking in this... and I found last night the "old name" for the development... looks very dodgy... but it's so impressive how well they have presented it.

    Opinions?

Not only does Fund 2 offer guaranteed returns of between 15% and 25% depending on sum invested, the fixed two year term demonstrates a clear and concise exit strategy.
There is no way that you can promise someone a no-risk 15%-25% return on your investment. These people are either lying or completely ignorant.

    Avoid.

where does this crowd see its potential customers coming from?
another bloody vineyard, if the wine is not good quality well that pretty much puts a spanner in the works with that side of things.

a crowd of chancers in my opinion

    beware of trojans bearing gifts

This project was named JARDIN DE LOS REYES, and then changed his name to this name LOS PANDOS, and I'm from investors in the former name, the last letter from them
Informed us that the Council has granted permission to change the name was registered in the records, and the owner of the two projects is a MC company(http://www.martinclews.com/),
But there is a doubt because it was supposed to a year ago must obtain approval to develop the land and converted from a rural
to urban areas, according to the contract between us and them., Not consent to change the name ....

A friend invested €20K. I couldn't believe it, I thought he was mad. I still think he was mad even now. He did however get his investment back with the promised return.
If it seems too good to be true...

I think he was just one of the lucky ones who got in early. I certainly wouldn't put my money anywhere near it.
