Vista crashed and left me with the black screen of death. Luckily managed to clone my c drive and do a factory reset on my pc. Is there any logical way to restore my pc with previous settings, drivers, programs, itunes etc. from the recovered c drive?

Or do i largely have to start from scratch. I understand it is not just a case of copying the c drive and pasting it over the newly restored drive........or is it?

I don't believe you will be able to restore it without restoring your corrupt windows install.
