Hoping I can get some advice on my form.

I concentrate a lot on keeping my head looking straight on try to relax the shoulders but keep them straight and I notice every time I pass a window or in shadow I'm throwing my shoulders into it so like a fast running pigeon :D

I think it happens more so when I'm nearing the end of my runs and getting a bit tired

    anyone any advice?

Probably because, when you're tired, your arms are beginning to swing across your body rather than coming straight through. If everything is going in a straightish-line and you're relaxed (including hands, keep them loose) then you'll be in good shape.

Compare your form at start to form at finish it could just be tiredness and only thing that will help that is when you get to optimum fitness that you are not that tired at the end of your run

try and keep your shoulders slightly back and down, push your hips forward and try an keep your feet under your body, minimise bouncing motion and don't over swing your arms (just a waste of energy) good form will usually flow if your form is gertting sloppy drop your pace and focus on relaxing.

I've been trying very hard with the keeping the shoulders back and down it just feels very unatural to me and my shoulders naturally seem to go up and then throw loads of shapes.

imagine a Towny in a nike tracksuit but running :pac:

I'm with you on this. I find that my shoulders go up as well. Got a slight pain in my shoulder yesterday while running too :(

found a treadmill is really useful in improving form (especially if there are mirrors), it also helps when you observe around you and notice how heavy some peoples foot falls are and how much they bounce around!
