I have an ABUS Raydo atm but judging from reviews it is pretty terrible. I also can't seem to set it up properly. It says 'turn the red reset latches counter-clockwise to the stop'. You must need tiny fingers coz I certainly can't turn it. Any help there?

But in general, what do ppl use? Are the Kryptonite locks very heavy?

Yes, Kryptonites are heavy but they will reduce the chance of your bike being stolen. Unlike that little combination yoke.

Not all kryptonite locks are heavy, but the ones with yellow are the heaviest as they are the highest rated. Highest is yellow, next is orange, bottom is grey.

I have 2 of the small orange evolution mini locks and also the newyork fagedaboudit chain lock. I usually use the 2 orange ones together or the chain on its own.

You could chew through that lock you have.

Yeah the raydo seems rubbish. I had just got my bike so needed sumit :( Btw Pete, I see you said you bring the 2 min-locks with you. Do you attach both to the frame when riding or carry them in a backpack etc? Just curious.

It all depends, I have a very small back pack and put one in it and leave the other in work. I am considering wrapping it in bar tape (or something else soft) and seeing how it goes on the frame. If I'm in town straight after work, I take both locks with me.

If you're in normal clothes, you can slip the small locks in your back pocket or between your belt and jeans, like a proper hipster should.

The big chain lock was bought as we're gonna have to store bikes outside our house rather than in the kitchen as the collection grows. I have it on my runaround for now and its overkill, as its probably worth more than the bike.
