    Hi,

Looking to get something like this luggage scale - http://www.balanzza.com/ - seems to be the most commonly sold one. I know of plenty of places I can get it online, but does anyone know of anywhere I can buy one (or something similar) in a bricks and mortar shop somewhere in Dublin?

    Thanks.

Careful with the luggage scales! A person I know recently weighed his luggage at home, then boarded a Ryanair flight and when they weighed the luggage it was 4kg heavier at Dublin airport. On the way back from the UK at the airport it was just slightly heavier than what the luggage scales reading had given originally because he had bought some things while on holiday.

So the ol luggage weight check things at Dublin airport don't seem to be exactly accurate.

    DIGITAL HANGING SCALE
    Price: $9.75

I have one of these, works well, but u might have to wait. There's no postage. Not bad compared to €30 at Argos

Managed to find a place online that does same day shipping, and had it out to me about 2 hours after ordering, so I'm sorted. Thanks for the advice - may be getting another (in less of a rush) for a friend, so will check out the above suggestions for that.

Re: weight variations, I've heard of that happening. I tend to pack pretty light anyway, but I'd like to have an idea before I head to the airport that things are on track with regard to my case weight. That way, if there is a discrepancy, I can at least try to do something about it.

There's an easier way if you don't have any luggage scales but do have normal weighing scales - weigh yourself first and then lift your bag up off the ground whilst on the scales and calculate the difference - I've always found it to be very accurate ;)

That's exactly what I do (weighing scales at home) and it's always spot on..

    Where did you get it?
