Any one know anywhere in Dublin that stokes these?
I've been thinking of buying one but I want to try one out myself before i fork over more than a grand.

Alternatively, if anyone wants to suggest a similar head (I'm after it's high gain settings) I'd love a few more options.
I'd like it keep it around the 15w region.
I've got all the power i need in my other head, far too much for bedroom levels really.
An attenuator wouldn't really do the job either as there's a vast difference in the sounds of the two heads.
(My other head's a Peavey Triple X if you're wondering. 120w tube amp. Pure metal. \M/)

    Thanks in advance lads.

Musician used to sell them. I don't know of anywhere that currently sells them though.

I owned one several years ago if you have any questions. They are an amazing amp, probably one of the best I have played.

There wouldn't be a lot of them in the country to try out, I believe the one on adverts is my old one...:pac: MusiciansInc used to stock them, not sure if they (Xmusic) have retained the dealership rights.

You're not really going to get proper high gain from any Valve amp at Bedroom settings. They need to be pushed to get the best from them and pushing means volume. You can turn down the master(if the amp has one) and saturate the pre amp valves but it's not the same. I find the POD to be the best crack for playing at home. You have a huge amount of tones and effects and you control the volume.

I have both but when I want to use the Bedroom Amp :) it's when the family and neighbours are out.

Used to have one of these and regret selling it.

They are excellent heads. That one on adverts looks pretty good and a decent price, but I suppose the best thing to do is to try organise to play it because nobody stocks them here for a jam.

15 watts is too much for bedroom use. I have a 5 watt head that has a built in power soak and it's just about passable for home use when it's on highest attenuation. It sounds sweet though when the family are out and i can crank it up. :D

The one on adverts is mine.

Not sure if I'm going to sell it anymore, it's just too good to let go!

I'll PM you and if you want to drop out to have a listen to it then get in touch.

Voodu Child, thanks again for that sweet deal, it has served me well!!

Brettzy, your one looks great alright and a lovely price to go with it.
Pity you're not after a strat anymore, I've actually been thinking of selling one of mine for about the same price.

When the time comes though, and if it's still around I'd love to check it out.

As for bedroom levels, my neighbors really can't complain.
The lad next door plays way louder than i do. :p
I just thinking cranking a 120w head would be a bit too much.
The UniValve has a build in attenuator too, so that'll let me crank it a bit more.

Voodu Child, thanks again for that sweet deal, it has served me well!!
Yeah man, its a sweet amp alright, one of the best ive owned, id nearly buy it back myself at that great price if I wasnt trying to shift gear myself :pac:

Anyways Cian, the Uni is fantastic, would recommend it highly, but good luck with whatever amp you go for.
