ok this happened to me a while back but just thought i would about as im might be using ticketmaster again. I bought a ticket from ticketmaster for a gig in London for a a friend. I bought it just over a week before the concert. However as the date got closer there bwas no sign of the ticket. i had to phone ticket master a couple of times and they kept telling me wait on the ticket. eventually a couple of days before the concert i phoned them and they told me write out a letter for my friend who was going to the concert. The ticket never arrived. Its possible that it got lost in the post but i think ticketmaster didnt send it out. Has anyone else had a similiar experience?

I had a similiar experience once. I assumed it got lost in the post. They arranged for me to pick it up at the box office on the night.

Suited me at the time anyway so didn't think much into it. I've never had other problems.

I once bought tickets for gigs in England, from Seetickets I think, and I was told they won't post them to Ireland because they send them by registered post and just collect them at the box office.

That got me thinking 'why the f*ck don't Ticketmaster in Ireland use registered post?' Sure they'd charge a bit more again, but why would they send out something that could be worth over €400 in regular post. And it's not like the tickets aren't obvious in envelopes.

Did you check your order history to see if it said the ticket was sent? It's generally TM's policy that they won't give you the time of day until it's 72 hours before the event.
