    Hi all!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this...

I know there is such thing as a plate that you can use to mark out proper portion sizes and also "trick" you into thinking your eating more. Does anyone know the right name for it and also, where to get it (apart from the worlds dustbin - Ebay!!) and also, if anyone has ever used one, what are your experiences of it?

    Thanks!!

Looks like a gimmick to me, I can imagine hungry animals creating a leaning tower of pizza in their "boundary". But if you think you will stick to it then it could be useful, most peoples problem is portion control.

What is wrong with a simple scales? far more accurate and useful in cooking and other things.
This one is cheap and a good brand.

Use smaller plates so they look fuller, also use small utensils, like eat with a teaspoon. This slows down you eating, it takes about 20mins for you to register when you are full, even try chopsticks. It is best to have a starter, and then delay the next course. e.g. I might eat something small before cooking which takes about 20mins, so I do not overeat when the main meal is cooked.
