Non-profit idea

    Well, idea might not be the correct term to use but I did come across a site a couple of years ago and it got me thinking. Surely most new businesses start up because they've bult on some other idea/tweeked it to their advantage? Let's say it's similar to a situation where a website was set up to sell cars and cars only. Someone came along, saw the site and thought to themselves, 'Hey, it wouldn't be a bad idea to sell cars, bikes etc on the one site' and then created their own site.

    I'm just curious I suppose. New to all this and it's only in the planning stage but I would like to have a little side project and possibly add it to my CV some day. Who knows.
