OK, you're talking about an online store, and there's a bit more to that than just a template.

Why not ask the person that did the template for you originally at redoxdesigns?

This is best managed by a database driven online store. Doing it manually is not the best way approach. You would need to create a new page for each product, and then update the pages that list the products.

Your current template could be adapted to a free solution like OSCommerce, but I really think you should talk to a company that has done this before.

I have but he is too busy now, and I want to be able to update the site when ever I can.I thought it would be a case of putting in the code for each item

I want to list 20-30 items per page, these are fancy dress costumes and beside each picture would be the name and price.I dont want to sell online yet

You mentioned paypal and buy it now - is that for later on when you do want to sell online?

Either way, there is definitely some development work required. It's just not practical to create a new page for each product, and then update the page that links to it. That would be a pain for anyone with experience in updating websites, let alone someone new to it.

You should be given a web interface to add products, so you can just fill in a few fields and upload a picture. This would then update the site accordingly.

Its probably a web interface is what i need. One webpage would be holding alot of the products and I just want to be able to add and remove and edit prices etc.
where can this be done ?

You can still use an online store application, but just remove links to the shopping cart, account, buy it now buttons etc.

There are a number of solutions you could use for this, but again I'd recommend you talk to a company or person that has done this before as you would need to integrate your current design with the application and there would be some coding required as well.

Once it's done though, it would be easy to update yourself. Unfortunately, the live demo of OScommerce is not available, otherwise you could test it yourself - but if you want, you can send me a private message with your email address and I can email you some pictures of what it would look like.

Sounds to me like you want to demo something - so you need no functionality at all. Just a simple html page with some neat css. That you can edit to include your own items for sale.

You need a FREE CSS TEMPLATE. Download one - and edit them html.

Google is your friend - just look through template sites like this
    http://www.freecsstemplates.org/
until you find a template that fits the bill.

The OP has the design sorted, but needs to update a list of products. A static site is not the way to do this IMO.
