special K is not healthy... full of sugar.....

Special K is not healthy, it's full of sugar and you'll be hungry again after an hour.

    My favourites are:
    - All-bran with fat-free vanilla yoghurt and fruit e.g. mandarins, peach, pineapple, banana. Maybe a bit of honey.
    - Boiled or scrambled eggs on wholewheat toast with olive oil.
    - Porridge with nuts and seeds and fruit.

A recent study showed that people who ate eggs for breakfast naturally ate less calories those that just had a bagel. Free-range eggs from preferably pastured hens are packed with vitamins and good fats that keep you full for longer.

I have two boiled eggs with butter of a morning, don't start thinking about lunch until 2pm..

    Special K is 17% sugar

All bran is also 17% sugar and you are adding more with the honey.

Bran flakes are the worst of the ones inferred to be "healthy", at 22% sugar.

    Presume nothing, read all labels.

It's true both are full of sugar and therefore not really healthy.
Weetabix and Shredded Wheat are about the only healthy cereals as far as I know, could be wrong.......
I have two weetabix with chopped kiwi and milk for breakfast. Keeps me full until lunch.

I would favour porridge oats over both (I know you might not regard them as a similar "cereal" so maybe left it out), but the weetabix & shredded wheat are quite good. People are surprised at weetabix since the ads are sort of aimed at kids and they do not over play the "healthy" bit, if they did I expect kids would turn their noses up at it! I would sooner give kids a mini mars and porridge oats than many cereals!

If you don't like porridge you do not have to make it. I just eat the oats raw, nothing wrong with that, muesli is just oats, nuts & fruit. You can make your own with fresh fruit which is more filling. Also watch museli since it can be high in sugar, added or natural (dried fruit is loaded with sugar, albeit natural).

I have sugar free strawberry flavouring I mix with whey powder, oats, coconut flour, & milk. I also make pancakes with porridge oats, more info on those here.

Read the packs like I advised, its no secret, you might be shocked at many things. Sugar puffs are 48 or 49% sugar, many others are basically boxes of broken up biscuits with a multivitamin tablet thrown in so they appear healthy.

French toast is very nice and very quick to make. You can use one cal frying oil spray if your worried about fat content so it doesn't have to be sinfull!
