Amsterdam to Dubrovnik

    Hello, I am looking for some advise on the best/cheapest way to Travel from Amsterdam to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Is there a train route that can be taken? Has anyone done this trip before? Any advise/weblinks that can be offered would be appreciated, many thanks.

    Did a trip from Dubrovnik to Vienna about 3 years ago, took a cheap ferry from Dubrovnik up the coast of Croatia to Rijeka (24 hour trip) and then a direct train to Vienna via Ljubliana (6 hours i think).
    There's regular train services between Amsterdam and Vienna obviously, so maybe you could get to Vienna and then repeat my trip in reverse?
