    Check out the differences in the trailers between east and west. The japanese trailer giving a very Totoro vibe and more in tune with the general tone of Miyazaki's work (With the possible exception of Howl and mononoke)

    Whereas the west trailer goes for big action and spectacle and makes it look like an epic: "One of the greatest filmmakers of all time", "Academy Award Winner", "His next Masterpiece" and then into the action.

    I'm not complaining, I'm sure there's an element of both there but I just thought it was curious how they advertised it.

    Japan= Totoro Miyazaki
    West= Spirited Away, Action Miyazaki

    they know their audience, alright :P

    I just hope they don't edit the film in america to make it more "epic"
