I was charged €100 when I was getting my braces done. Couple of others quoted €100 too. No one was as high as €150.

Chap I know was also quoted €1500 for the removal of a tooth. Got it done for €600 in the end from someone else. Shop around.

Apparently it was a right bastard of a tooth, one that should have come out naturally when he was a kid but instead grew in behind his teeth. Don't think it was even visible. If he could have got at it anyway himself he would have. even the dentist didn't fancy having a go and referred him to the ortho. He was still gutted paying the €600 but relieved he shopped around all the same.
