Anybody know any good books or dvd's on the giants??

Getting sick of reading about the doping scandals, every cycle book these days have nothing else......but please don't go there on the above two!!

Have read Rough ride and loved the storys of the early days up the Wicklow mountains...kind of looking for more of that

David Walsh's bio of Kelly is a great read, probably won't get it in the shops anymore though, maybe try the libraries.

The Rás – The Story Of Ireland’s Unique Bike Race

Very very good read, no cynicism just great stories from different eras in Irish cycling. :)

David Walsh, wrote one on Roche as well, "the Agony and the Ecstasy" I'd say it's out of print as well.

They weren't before my time but I certainly didn't appreciate the achievements at the time. The Kelly book is very expensive, would be a good time to re-print with the cycling craze.

Prefered Kelly. In the early/mid 90s Roche was whinging a lot about lack of recognition, seemed to think Ireland owed him a living.
