My passport is almost full, but I have 5 years left on it. Is it possible to get extra pages put in it?

    Thanks

    No.

You can apply for a large 66 page passport but you cannot extend or upgrade your passport during its term.

    Dang. Just as I thought.

Money making racket, in the US they just put extra pages in.

Happened my sister last month. She arrived in Oz and her passport was full and they were travelling onto Indonesia. She went to the Irish embassy and they wouldn't do it and told her she would have to get new a passport. So she then went to the Indonesian embassy and they put a page in her passport and that worked ok. Didn't think that was possible but she had no problem when she arrived in Indonesia.

Look at it this way. Our driving licenses are nearly made of tracing paper. I remember the woman in Dollar in the USA nearly wet herself when she saw it.

The Police officer in Australia actually said "Your not serious"

Had the same reaction to driving licence in the US, so funny, they just thought it was a joke.. Pretty sure the extra pages not possible too, tried if before years ago and was told no.

Looks like I'll have to do this so. Do I just fill in a normal renewal form and send back my passport or do I have to explain why I want a new one before the expiry date?
