Relationship issue

In a great relationship but fights are occurring more and more over families. As a result most family events are not gone to! Question is do families eventually become an issue or is up to us to rise above that ? Anyone else been in the same situation and what was the end result?

It will become an issue if you let it. I wonder if the problems really are to do with your families anyway - maybe there is something in your own relationship that needs addressing?
