    Lads and Ladies,

    I booked flights to Dubai yesterday thorough a website called Terminal A.
    The flights were very reasonable and the times were perfect.
    Recieved confirmation of my booking and an email saying i would be issued with my electronic tickets within 72 hours.
    Then i got this email today:


    Dear client,
    We have received your booking and I have to inform you to get in contact with us before 18:00 o`clock spanish time from today till tomorrow 23th of June due to some changes in relation to your booking , call us at the number 0034 936 455 018 or 0845 3510028 click 1 or 2 and ask to speak to someone in the English Department, we could not issue the original flight because the airlines don't have an agreement to issue electronic tickets.
    The original flight was:
    Flight AF5001 Class L 28JUN from DUB-CDG at 09:10 12:10
    Flight AF 526 Class L 28JUN from CDG-DXB at 13:45 22:25
    Flight AF 525 Class V 06JUL from DXB-CDG at 00:40 05:45
    Flight AF5002 Class V 06JUL from CDG-DUB at 07:15 08:15
    So we found an alternative flight which we can issue for the price of 163GBP more expensive than the original:
    Flight BD 128 Class O 28JUN from 7 DUB-LHR at 15:35 16:55
    [SIZE=+0]Flight BD5060 Class N 28JUN from LHR-DXB at 21:00 06:55+1
    Flight BD5061 Class V 06JUL from DXB-LHR at 09:15 13:45
    Flight BD 131 Class O 06JUL from LHR-DUB at 18:35 19:55
    [/SIZE]In this case the air company is pureAir France and you will have a stop over in Charles de Gaulle.

    The total price will be 163GBP more expensive.

    If you like that option we will need you to accept these changes so we can proceed with the payment and issue the tickets or cancel the reservation with no cost of any kind if this option does not suite you.
    I inform you that if you would like to take this alternative flight you can also reply to that email address.

    Check with your credit card company if you paid by Credit Card. Remember it is not your money - it's theirs and they have loads of protection on it. They'll put you right.

    thing is the original flights i booked are the bottom ones....These:

    i just think they copied and pasted the flights teh wrong way around.
    Anyhow i anyone know where i stand?
    Surely i have some sort i rights, i recieved a confrimation email..

    Are they British Midland flights?
    Can you check direct with British Midland to see if you are on the expected passenger list?

    Did they provide a locator with the original confirmation ? If so, you can check the status of the booking on www.checkmytrip.com.

    They are looking to move you from BMI to Air France flights, but don't appear to have made the booking with BMI in the first instance, so BMI wouldn't be able to help.

    In terms of getting them to stick with what they originally offered you, the law might be on your side, but I think you would struggle to get this company to adhere to it.

    If they are offering to cancel the original transaction, prehaps this is the best course of action. You could use the following sites to have a look around at other options http://www.skyscanner.net/ , http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/prego ( login as guest )

    Something strictly dodge here - "we could not issue the original flight because the airlines don't have an agreement to issue electronic tickets."

    Since when were BMI not able to issue e-tickets ?

    Also, I could be wrong on this but I understand that paper tickets (the 5/6/7/8 part carbon-copy ones of old) are no longer issued *anywhere* so if this particular company has no agreement with BMI regarding e-ticketing then there would be no other way they could resell BMI flights.

    I would be tread very carefully here.

    I used this site a couple of days ago, however i also got a email to say that even though they had made a booking for me they didn't have authority to sell the ticket i had bought???????
    I will not be using this site again.
