Booking flights for a holiday for me and 11 other friends. All bookin our flights seperatley at the same time.

What I need to know id that when you're booking you're ticket (with Aer Lingus) which I havn't flown with in years, is do you get to pick your seat when booking, or when we get to the check-in desk, if we check in one after another, will we get sitting together!?

Are there any other ways to sit together if possible that I don't know of!?

    Cheers.

You can pick a seat when you book online for a charge of between E3 and E15 depending on the seat (assuming this is short haul). You can also log back in after booking, but before a certain amount of time before your flight and select your seat for the same charge.

If you wait until the airport and use the self check in kiosks you will be able to see all available seats and pick the one you want. A lot of them might be gone though so don't bank on getting 11 seats together. If you check in at the desk you will be depending on the kindness of the check in desk agent to do their best to accomodate 11 people looking to sit together.

Cheers bud, not even that fact of 11 of us sitting together, even if it's 2 o 3 here n there, that'd be grand, just as long as we aint all sitting seperatley!?

If you're not paying online to book seats then it will really be down to luck on the day as to where you sit. The earlier you turn up, the better your chances will be. Last time I travelled with Aer Lingus in a big group most people were sitting with one or two of the group, but one or two were left on their own.
