Buses to Kotor and Mostar from Dubrovnik

Hi, looking for the following information and experiences on buses to and from Dubrovnik in July.

Would anyone know if the buses to Kotor and Mostar from Dubrovnik have toilets on them?

Has anyone taken these trips - would you recommend using buses rather than renting a car?

Any experiences of these trips would be helpful, thanks.

We did a daytrip to Mostar from Dubrovnik through Budget who was our operator for the holiday. As far as I can remember there was a toilet on the bus as it was a modern coach. Don't know about local buses though.

It's quite a long trip to Mostar and if I was doing it again I'd probably rent a car just for the independence and being able to stop were you want. I don't know if there would be hassle at the border crossings though if you were travelling independently.
