    Saddle bag -
    2 tubes.
    Tyre levers/crank brothers speed lever.
    Multitool.
    Patch kit.
Loose change - always tend to keep a few euro coins on an off chance.
And new one -Duct tape to seal ripped tyres until you get home (Thanks to Niceonetom for that suggestion).

I've an expandable saddle bag. Works great as a small bag normally, then for things like W200, it expanded out to hold an extra 10 bars :D

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Topeak_Survival_Gear_Box_17_Function_Tool_Box_Multitool/690715895/ Had pretty everything you'll need while out on the bike tool wise. Puncture repair kit in there too and it'll even mount to the bars on the bike if you don't get a saddle bag. Picked mine up in CycleSuperStore.
