    who is a good supplier of balsa wood for model airplanes? Is there a shop or internet web page. And where could I get spruce wood supplier?:confused:

    Modelling balsa wood, etc, Dublin

    Spruce is largely replaced by pine these days as a modellers load bearing hardwood, mainly for straightness of grain in eg aircraft wing spars, yacht booms, and so on. While spruce is available, you'll normally get better stock if you use pine for those jobs.
