Aer Lingus Baggage for kids

Can any one tell me about hand luggage for kids.

We are traveling with aerlingus on Saturday. 2 Adults a child of 3, and a baby. Now I know the baby does not get a hand luggage allowance. (Why would a baby need nappies, bottles, changing items etc any way) But what about the 3 year old?

Can we in total bring on 3 hand luggage items, as long as they are all under the size and weight requirements?

I can't seem to find this info on line!!

    Thanks,

    Phil

Yeah as the 3 year old is a paying passenger, he/she is entitled to 6kg hand luggage too.

Good Man Gazza22, I was hoping that would be the case. As you say she is paying for a seat, unlike Baby who be on my wife's knee......(I hope)

There is also an option with Aer Lingus to pay for an infant >2 as a child. That way the baby gets a seat, baggage allowance etc., and you can bring a car seat on board for the baby to be strapped into. Everyone's a winner then!

I don't know why they split it into children, infants and adults. As far as the pricing goes, there is them what sits on laps that pay one price and there is them what sits on seats, who pay the full fair.

I think infants may get free buggies in the hols as well btw, might be worth checking out.

All buggies are carried free, regardless of infant/child class
