Dude, I drive cars, shoot guns in my sleep.

I've told my gf I'd put her 'in a hole in the ground if you go to the feds' after the sopranos. I've woken up shouting about lasers and robots! It's become a running Joke. I'm scared of ending up on youtube.

I guess the fear is you'll say something horrible, or random. You never know what you'll say. I guess if someone gets used to the random nature of it it'll be fine.

It's nothing to worry about really, but you can always give a heads up in case you reveal where the bodies are or something!!

My missus talks in her sleep. I scream and shout in my sleep when having war flashbacks.

Happens to everyone OP, don't worry about it.

    Great stuff.

Just be sure to warn whoever you're lying with about it.
They'll probably get a hoot out of it as long as you don't get too loud and go all night.

If you feel that there's an underlying issue see your doctor and ask for a referral to a sleep therapist, but if it's not really bothering you, embrace it!
Get a tape recorder and see if anything make sense to you the morning after.

    Best of luck.

I do this, apparently I sound like an angry potty mouthed pirate. I have been knowing to punch people who wake me up suddeningly too.

Weird thing is though, it is like the best sleep ever.

Explain it to people who you sleep around, and then don't worry about it.

Digestion has a lot to do with that.
Eat lighter in the evening, maybe drink a cup of tea/camomile before going to bed and its probably gonna get better.
I used to do this alot. My sis always said we could have better convos while I was asleep.
I also used to sleepwalk. And as a kid i used to hide my stuff (games etc). I once found figurines and my shoes in the freezer after searching for them for days.
    Mother wasnt impressed. :)

My mates girlfriend is an accountant and she talks about nothing but numbers when shes sleeping. He finds it funny and it doesn't bother him.

I don't sleep talk often, but i do tend to wake up confused, half dreaming and ask stupid questions or not understand whats going on.

One time i woke up and thought one of my friends was in the room, my girlfriend asked me what i was doing and i started asking her "wheres mick? He was here a minute ago".

I just jumped back into bed when i realised i was half dreaming 'n siht.

personally i wouldn't worry about it. I s;pose you're more ancious though about who you are around when doing it...

Myself and my 2 brothers have been known to sleep talk... sometimes when we've caught the other guy doing it we'd try to carry the conversation...

Anyhow, As mentioned above, if yer gonna share a room with someone, there'd be no harm in letting them know. Alot of the stuff would be subconcious and unrelated to you're state of mind when awake... (not a professional opinion, but what I've noticed with the brothers, nothing they'd talked about had anything to do with anything at all)

Just like Father Jack then:) OP i've been known to talk proper bull in my sleep, my bro used to have conversations with me when we shared a room years ago...:P Dont worry about it, it just happens to some people. I believe it is related to stress levels, sleep patterns, diet and nature of everyday life like work etc...

Sleep talking is a piece of cake, now sleep walking is a different story. When i was eleven i nearly left the apartment while sleep walking:pac:. My mother woke me up and there i was, standing in the middle of the doorway, the door open, me in my boxers about to walk out into the cold winter night:P. Scary stuff. I dont do it anymore, luckily.
If its only sleep talking you're on about OP,i wouldnt worry too much about it tbh.

I sleep talk too sometimes, my ex used to update me in the mornings about the previous night's gibberish, some of it was quite funny!

I wouldnt worry about it, if you're concerned about a new partner finding it weird, tell them beforehand that it happens, so that they can be prepared and in the know when it does happen.

Hey OP - I really wouldn't get too stressed about this I laugh in my sleep I talk I snore like a freight train, my partner once had to sleep on the couch because I was so loud(i'm a girl) lmao. It's pretty harmless as far as I know. My lil sis is 10 and she's worse she sits up opens her eyes and will chat away and then just nod off. She once told my mam and her friend they were full of s**t after dozing on the couch, she's pulled the cushions off the sofa before. The only thing is she sleep walks which is not good. She walked out my mams friends front door before while asleep, she reckons her teacher was looking for her. As for sleep talking I think its harmless my partner gets a great laugh out of it.

My mate talks in his sleep.

Last time I head him talking he was after figuring out a hidden pathway in COD4.... all while he was asleep. I recorded it and showed him. We then went and played COD and it worked!!

I mumble alot in my sleep aswell. Alot of people do, its not a big issue from what I can see.

I play soccer in my sleep. I've kicked my walls and ended up with bruises on my feet from it! I also, funnily enough, speak in German when I am asleep - I am no way fluent in the language when I am awake, but speak it when I am asleep!! I also think through problems and have solutions to things when I wake up. I think its quite natural, especially when people go to bed thinking about certain things, such as the friend with the COD game.

I think sleep talking can be annoying, but sleep walking can be dangerous - I did it before, and ended up out the front door of the house as well as some other embarrassing things! Happened when I was stressed when I was younger. Talking and shouting happens now instead when I am stressed!!

I snore arseways... I sigh on the exhale... only started doing it a while ago. It's kinda like sex noises very funny and I've woken myself up doing it. Hubby snores like a freight train I wear ear plugs so it's funny if I wake him lol

Sometimes I make mad noises in my sleep too. I have mad dreams aswell. Glad I don't sleep walk.... can't imagine what I'd end up doing. The other night I was growling or sighing or something and I woke up and hubby was wide awake haha i just said "was i making noise?" he said yea fell asleep and then I was awake listening to him snoring even through the ear plugs. Next door must love us lol
