    Making a mockery of an organisation that excludes people on the basis of the colour of their skin is a good thing if you ask me. Everything else about that guy is not so good.

    He is white, but also a member of the City Light Black Employees' Association.

    If they let him be a member, they're hardly excluding him on the basis of the colour of his skin.

    Theres no problem. I think he's more angry at funding being mis-used, in his opinion, and that forcefully outing gay people is his silver bullet...


    Also, The mis-use of funding isn't in regards to the funding of the LGBT for it being a LGBT organisation, but for the fact such funding may not be required.

    It provides email list facilities and meeting rooms to "affinity groups" made up of city employees. this guys is suing for the city to release to him the names of the members on this list.

    I think they were forced to let him in when he complained he couldn't. Why can't these employees work together under one organisation is beyond me. Waste of money. Well American money anyway.

    what he should do is ask for a straight list and get a phonebook and mix and match then he's got it done problem solved.

    Sounds fair from his POV I suppose not mine though, imagine if there was a "Whites Only" event or "No gays allowed" event or club people would be baying for to know who attended something similar happened when the BNP had its membership list leaked last year.

    The biggest problem I would have is State Money funding events like this regardless of sexuality and looks like waste to me. I would have a problem with naming the guests though. From a straight hetero POV I would not like it if my name was published at having attended say a Lapdancing club or something similar that people would judge negatively so the same goes for the gay fellas, what they do in private between consenting adults in none of anyone's business and especially a busybody like this individual.
