ok i wasnt sure what section to post this thread in but anyway.....

Im having problems uploading videos onto youtube.. What i do is, insert the chip from the digital camera and then i browse from the uploading page on youtube and chose a video to upload. One of 2 things always happens. either the video takes an infinity to load(ive left it for an hour before) so i get impatient and close the page. The very odd time it will be succesfully uploaded, but then when i try and play the video it doesnt work.

    can anyone help? thanks

    * Make sure the videos you're trying to upload fit into the criteria provided by youtube.

Straight from your digital camera in other words.

Cameras have a terrible habit of saving video to MPEG, which offers almost no compression. The files are huge and they dont need to be. You will want to convert the video to another format like divx or avi before uploading them.
