A cement cup? Wtf? Is this some bizarre Irish tradition? To drink out of cement cups?

I'll take the paper one, thanks.

wtf is a cement cup? Is it literally a cup made of cement? wouldn't that be heavy?

you shouldn't drink out of a cement cup, the lime in the cement will leach into the tea and poison you over time.

Theres a Pizza Hut in Dublin that does the same thing ;)

I'll take my Sausage and Egg Biscuit over a rasher though. Still, I do love rashers. And I miss them. :(

There is a clear difference between the biscuit you get in a mcdonalds breakfast and a scone. I know what a scone is.

And without any sultanas ffs! What kind of scones don't have sultanas? Disgusting

Maybe they do them differently in TX...when I heard biscuit I was expecting...well I don't know what I was expecting with my chicken, but an enlarged scone certainly wasn't it.
Tasted nice though. Definitely semed like unlevened bread of some description.

I much prefer cement cups, I hate those tree cups they usually give you in fast food joints.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 86,729 ✭✭✭✭Overheal

Its not a scone dammit! :p Theyre similar but for one thing scones are made with a lot more sugar, and sultanas. The texture and taste are also different.
