    I've covered a christening in the golf club there and then a communion where I was also guest. I have to say teh food was great and the golf course is inbelievable for photographs, absolutely amazing!

    I attended a reception there, really nice venue, intimate, the food was good and the two adjoing rooms that they used for the reception wrer just the right size for the afters. The bar downstairs was great too. I liked it a lot.

    how many was at reception? we are worried room is abit small for 180-200

    I'm refrerring to the old house which couldn't take that many. I'm afraid I can't help if there is a larger function room in the main hotel as I haven't attended a function there. However, the food was good and the function was well run, I work in the trade and take note of these sorts of things, drives my wife mad.
